My New Mission

It’s a new week once again.. and next week will be July already.. amazing!

Did you all have a good weekend? I’m on a new mission to take weekends back to being weekends. It’s very hard for me to not want to be ‘working’ all the time, I guess because I don’t consider anything that I do online as work.. but my family does.

Two Friday nights in a row now we’ve had a movie night! I love watching movies and am very hopeful that this new trend will continue.

This week we watched I Am Legend with Will Smith.. not a movie you sleep through by any means! I liked it very much.

How many of you have visited TMF?.. The Members Forum TMF is a place to keep in touch with the latest news from your favorite exchanges and to meet their owners.

It is more then that, however. Along with being a place that you can feel free to ask any questions that you may have about Traffic Exchanges.. Doug and I also want it to be a meeting place for those of us that use Traffic Exchanges and are Internet Marketers.

Obviously we all have those two things in common, but there are many more things. I’ve gotten to know several of you over the years and it’s been so much fun.. I can honestly say that I’ve met my best friends ‘through the computer’.

So make you way over to TMF and specifically to The Lounge area and join in a conversation or start a new thread about something that interests you. Topics may be limited at this point, but we want your help in changing that!

Have a great week!

The problem I have with traffic exchanges is, yes, you’re getting tons of traffic, but is that traffic getting you sales and or sign ups related to your website. How many actual sales/sign ups are actually generated via traffic exchanges?

    Hi Michael,

Well seeing that I’ve been doing this business now for over 8 years and make a full time living with 95% of my traffic coming from TEs, would mean to me that I’ve gotten thousands of new leads that turned into customers over the years.

TEs work, when you use them correctly.

    Hi Paula!

Always remember, God first, family second and everything else after.

Once we get caught up in doing stuff we forget the order but I am glad to see you are getting back your balance.

I understand what Michael is saying because I have been using TEs for about 8 years now and have not made a sale through any one of them but I am still looking for ways to finally start making some money.

Perhaps Bret will not mind sharing with us his methods so that we to can start making money with Traffic Exchanges.

Thank you so much for this forum I look forward to learning a great deal here.

    Regards

    David

    Polls, Questions and Concerns:
    Are Traffic Exchanges Really Effective?

  7. June 24th, 2008 | 4:15 pm

    Hi Paula,
    Thanks for putting family first!!

What I have found with the TE’S (traffic exchanges)is a good thing. What most surfers do not want to look at is what they are promoting. The good thing about the TE’S is it takes real people to click the link!

Then you need to realize you have 10 seconds to get the surfer interest.

THE DOWNSIDE IS MOST PEOPLE! ~~Are broke–looking for something for free-lazy-scared to follow up with their leads. They want to do nothing and get rich for it!

Shock but the truth is web site don’t buy or sale any thing people do. WEB CAN BE DONE MUCH NICER THAN MINE BUT IT NOT THE GRAPHICS THAT MAKES SALES. Is the person behind the site that makes the sales to the visitors to a site.

That is why most people never make a dime in their home business. That and the facts the don’t have any experience in business. Finally they have to have the right product or service and marketing plan to succeed.

I love my business and would not be doing any thing else!

    God Bless Paula,

    Nice post, Paula!

Weekends are about family for me/mine as well - happy to know that I’m not alone in making this a priority.

TMF is the BEST forum online, and you and Doug are the mainstead! Thank you for being there for members/owners alike.

    You guys rock!

Thanks a lot Paula, for reminding us all that some TE owners are realistic enough to accept that we do not ALL want to surf 24/7 as if nothing else matters in our lives. I have been gently wondering aloud why some TE owners insist on WEEKEND SPECIALS, to the detriment of those of us who maybe take Sunday or Saturday off to look out for family duties or even going to Church.
More power to your elbow, and keep up the good work.
    Peace and love
